Hey Red , I know you laughed at Republican Ryan's budget but yesterday Obama's budget was voted down 98 to 0. Obama didn't get one Democrat to vote for his budget. How's that for confidence in the Prez.
TRUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRUST ONLY WHEN IT COMES FROM THE HORSES MOUTH!!!
'doveryai, no proveryai'
This is unbelievable, watch the first 40 sec of the Messiah's rant and your jaw will drop, so don't preach your BS and take the moral high ground when it comes to TRUST.
COME NOV 2012, LIBERALS WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO LOOK SMART.
Remember you can always vote for Tasty's FACE PAINTED STUMP IN IS FRONT YARD.
Jerry brown doesnt want to increase taxes . He is willing to put up a vote for more spending cuts or a tax increase.Wants to let the voters decide Get the facts straight.
Brown is doing a fine job. Got both parties to act like adults in last years budget process.
Are you even remotely aware that you moved from a state with no sales to to one with a 8.8-10.6% sales tax and you think you are being taxes less?
Its like you live in an alternate fantasy reality of made up facts supplied to you by people who groom and handle political bagholders for a living.
What kind of knuckle dragging troglodyte would characterize the 3 states that are among the most economically successful in the world?
If California, Oregon and Washington were a separate nation, they would probably form the 6th largest economy on earth.
California standing alone is probably the most successful area of land in the world, with an economy that encompasses a spectrum that begins with agricultural plenitude and rises to global technological supremacy.
What kind of freaking squinting-in-the-sun recessive-gened dullard would characterize America's cradle of innovation and progress the way you just did?
The House has the responsibility to form a budget, not the Senate. There is nothing gained to do so in the Democrats eyes as Bonner cannot negotiate squat. The Dems are clearly saying Republicans have to get serious before any new cuts will be proposed.
Lets face it the Republican budget undermines their likelihood of winning.Ending Social Security, 70% cut in food stamps, big tax cuts for the rich etc. Just sits there stinking.
FYI many Republicans voted against their own budget also.
Many Republicans was actually 4. There were several budgets presented. They did propose lowering tax rates after eliminating many deductions much like the Bowles-Simpson commission. Your assertion that they were ending Social Security is a lie.
President O bama's budget suffered a second embarrassing defeat Wednesday, when senators voted 99-0 to reject it.
Coupled with the House's rejection in March, 414-0, that means Mr. O bama's budget has failed to win a single vote in support this year.
R epublicans forced the vote by offering the president's plan on the S enate floor.
D emocrats disputed that it was actually the president's plan, arguing that the slim amendment didn't actually match Mr. O bama's budget document, which ran thousands of pages. But R epublicans said they used all of the president's numbers in the proposal, so it faithfully represented his plan.
Sen. Jeff S essions, A labama R epublican, even challenged D emocrats to point out any errors in the numbers and he would correct them — a challenge no D emocrats took up.
D emocrats don't want to be on record supporting $6.4 trillion in fresh debt -- and yet they also demonize the R epublican budgets (paring debt down to $3.1 trillion or under $2 trillion, spending on the plan) as "e xtremist."
You should stop getting your news from "Fixed News". What you call the President's budget was a budget offered by Senator Sessions from that bastion of progressive thought there in Alabama. It wasn't the President's plan and the Democrats voted that and three others proposed by the Repubs down. Nice try! I guess you want your granny to have to shop for Medicare insurance with a Paul Ryan Voucher. Guess how that will go?
Until there is a real attempt at a balanced approach that includes increasing revenue we can't take any of you on the right seriously. Its just a poorly veiled attempt at putting "forward" your pre-Civil War social agenda.
