So, sounds like the EDS salary ranges will change once the job codes for EDS employees are transferred to the HP job codes this fall or late summer. Does anyone know what the HP salary ranges are? Of course no one will tell any EDS employees up front, just going to screw the EDS employees once again this year as salaries will be cut for some employees once again....possibly an increase for a tiny few....TINY FEW.

Leave, I did it was the best thing I ever did........ I now go to work with a smile on my face and when I come home no mater how late it is, I have a smile on my face. Health insurance is paid for by my employer 100%, 21 days of vacation, expense account, I actually can take clients out now to dinner! HP is a sinking ship anyone with talent and leadership skills are jumping off the sinking ship, just like Mr. Hurd will do when all the contracts that EDS won because of our name and service to our customers are in the toilet. There will not be a recovery for those clients, it will be to late. Watch what happens in the government sector when the Navy doesn't sign with HP, Man Hurd will make more numbers with 3K more staff to cut.
bent4heck, wise words. Cut bait and run. I left HP almost two years ago when I was told I would no longer collect pager pay. This is after it was reduced from 15% to 7.5%. In an effort to save costs they figured, "what the hell, let'em work for nothing."
I had a new job lined-up w/i a few weeks and then tendered my resignation. Ostonishingly, they wanted to offer me more $$$ to stay. Thankfully, I did not seriously consider their offer. I figured if I did I would just get the shaft when they were 'ready' for me to depart.
HP wil continue to reduce over-all employee compensation every chance they get.
