Your grammar is incorrect. Texas is a state. Texas did not petition to secede. A group of Texas asked to secede. I guess they want to build a small country within the state of Texas. Don't they have to secede from Texas first. If Texas says okay, then they don't have to secede from the US because they will not be part of the State of Texas.
In the meantime, I guess Jindalistan will have to look for a new leader. Jindal will stay as Governor of LA because he wants to be President of the United States. He won't approve the formation of Jindalistan within LA borders. He definitely won't give it access to LA oil reserves. Ah, but maybe he will give Jindalistan the rice. The GOP needs to listen to Jindal who has asked the GOP to stop being "the party of stupid".
It's just stupid. They give up so easy and wan to run away. It must mean they don't really hold to their beliefs. After all....look at the far leftists.....they believe in being supplicant to the gov't and they never every vote any different. They are true believers.
I think it is more of a starting point to let the regime know there are major issues. I also think it shows they are willing to stand up and fight for their beliefs. They are not running away, they are making a stand.
