Indices now flat as Uncle Ben said he's out of bullets
11:14 AM Stocks give up sizable early gains following Bernanke's dovish testimony, with the S&P and Nasdaq now in the red. Hurting is Europe sliding back to session lows after an attempted late-day bounce. Stoxx 50 -2.6%, led by Italy -4.4%. Performing best across the pond is the U.K., -1.2%. The euro is flat at $1.3065.
When you've done everything you can and can do no more it's then up to the politicians to remove tax breaks to send jobs overseas, remove tax cheating corps from their overseas accounts, and it's up to us to vote the obstructionist Republicans out in 2014. Only then can recovery begin.
