it appears that this pending deal between AOL and Time-Warner has buoyed up the market. I'm sure there are other things of which I am unaware. I did read that the Asian markets were up based upon the strength of the US markets on Friday.
When do you think this whole Agilent and HP stock price will get balanced out. It is my understanding that on distribution day the HP stock price will drop 40% of the Agilent price. If that is true, at today's prices HP would drop to approx. $82. It seems like HWP should end up higher assuming a reasonable earnings and PE ratio.
One other thing...any idea on how existing unexercised employee options in HWP will be modified to provide the same value before and after the distribution?
regarding an upgrade for Intel. Also, I'm not really in the know on the A/HWP stock price deal nor do I have an inside track on the whole deal. From what I understand, HWP is still undervalued if A continues to trade in the 60 and above range.
As far as unexercised employee options - no clue - never had options. Good luck to you!
