I love Ben, but he was promoting RQI when it was near 20 and then all the way down to just a few dollars a share. Not bashing RQI,its just Ben has not exactly made the right calls on this. You know, even a stopped clock is right twice a day. That being said, I have been accumulating RQI for the last couple years with an average cost of arond 6. The fact they doubled the dividend tell me Cohen & Steers see REIT's starting to improve, which ti me is more significant that what Ben says, given his track record on RQI. And nonetheless, I love Ben Stein, despite how much money he caused me to lose, lol.
Take your chart back 3 yrs and say that. There are a lot of investors badly burned w Cohen & Steers CEFs. A few investors have likely tiptoed back in, but I bet many investors have a wait and see attitude about RQI & every other surviving C&S fund.
