There is a comment on a recent Bret Jensen article on Seeking Alpha which says
" craig-hallum analyst on tqnt just did an update and wrote they have close to $1 eps potential in 2014".
There are 6 analysts on Yahoo for 2014 with estimates ranging from $0.36 to $0.80 with an average of $0.51 EPS. If Craig Hallum is correct, we could be over $15 to $20 in Feb or 2015 when TQNT announces their 2014 FY.
Note that FY 2014 will compare to the $0.05 expected for FY2013 so year over year will be huge. That is why we could be closer to a 20 P/E although we need to see what is expected for 2015.
The Seeking Alpha article is titled: "What An Apple iPhone Teardown Reveals" and was posted on Sept 20, 2013.
"Which leads me to today’s new name for the Revolution Investing model portfolio. That name is Triquint Semiconductor TQNT -2.24% . See, Triquint has some design wins that Apple is using for those new iPhones which are selling tens of millions right now. Triquint has been in past iPhones too, but this is where you get the kicker — the average selling revenue that goes to Triquint in each iPhone sold looks to have doubled in the new 5S and 5C. "
