I am confused. Didn't EBAY already reach 53 at one point? Must have been overvalued then... just like now! Shorted some more at 44! Will continue to short more and more...
Longs, we may both be winners in the end. Sell before the "bubble bursts" next week. I am going to make a prediction... EBAY is going to beat estimates by a few cents (let's say they earn .06). This is what happens on Wednesday next week after earnings. EBAY will gap up a point or two for all the suckers, and then it will go spiraling down as investors realize that even if this company lives up a dream, the stock is still overvalued. Just a matter of time.
Please dont accuse people of lying unless you have a proof. I have bought EBAY on margin before and today I sold and shorted EBAY. If you want proof I could send you copy of email from my broker suretrade. In fact I will attached below.

Someone mentioned earlier that this stock will be heading down big time like ...
SHARKS TO A FEED!!!!!!!!!!!!! This stock has a book value of .34 cents a share not 43 1/8 a share. I am sure that it is meer coincidence that the analyst who took them public is now recommending a BUY. Could it be that they are trying to protect their clients that purchased the stock at the IPO of $18.00?
There are only a few days left. I would be extremely suprised if more people didn't SHORT this stock. I can't wait to see it happen. If anyone purchased this stock in the mid-20's to 40's, I would think seriously about getting out while you still have some profit.
The people who say "Go Ebay!!" aren't looking at Basic fundamentals; they are speculators who are keeping their fingers crossed.!!
If you had any clue as to what fundamentals are used to value a stock you would realize many factors are used to set the price of a share. And unless you believe in a weak market theory, then speculate as you may like a hack-chef indescriminately throwing spices in a sauce.
