Not to posit myself as a frequent poster, but I did also want to mention something of note from a psychological perspective. If you look back at media interviews with people from, say, Enron, their reaction to charges leveled against them comes across as an attempt to remain very confident, collected, and cool-- almost arrogant. Michael Johnson, on the other hand, sounds flat-out angry, almost flustered, as though emotion is overpowering calculation. For what it's worth, his reaction comes across as honest, I'll say that, and I think that works in his favor.
the business model is what it is. Achman doesn't like it, thats all. Doesn't matter what he thinks. It is Legal. There are so many disclosures in the sales literature. The FTC goes after fly by night ponzi pyramids that are complete scams. The large MLM co's operate in a gray area it seems. I doubt the gvt is going to shut them down. But i'm no expert.
