I closed my short position at 42.65. I think this goes sideways from here with low volume and +/-50c move on a daily basis. I think FB is a decent long position compared to HLF at the moment. I still dont get why Loeb shorted NUS, that things gonna hurt him bad. Anyways, sayanora for now.
Big talker. You try to sound like you know #$%$ you are talking about. Did you have inside info on when to go short? Do you have a crystal ball idiot to know what direction hlf will go? Or is it fair to say you went short the day ackman said he was short. That would be typical of a true retail greedy amateur.
Mind your language mate! Yes, I'm a retail amateur and also happened to lose a bit on a short position I took a week ago but I did make decent money when I got in at 37 and rode it to 26. That doesnt make me smart, maybe just lucky. There's nobody smart even among the pros, its just that they have more info than us. But I can bet that this thing stays sideways for a while until HLF accumulate a few million shares. If they upped their quarterly quota to 2.5 mil, they can only buy 5+ mil shares at these levels. They probably bought 1/2 mil this week. Its trickily, because if they put in larger block orders it will drive the price higher, so the hedgies are likely to drive this down to 41, so that HLF will bring it back up a few points with their orders on the dip. Bottomline, HLF would buy these under 44. Therefore, I assume that this thing stays range bound with the HLF buying and hedgies selling in the offing.
