    Pipe Line Dist.

ABTER 1 What are your thoughts on MWE EPT & KMR . All have had a good rally and have backed off small amount. I am always looking for pipe line that has good record of dist. increases and these three seem to be about the best

    • Abter1- I read your mesg. Re KMR -P as usual you seem to have the rite answers. Again I tnx you very much and will stay in touch. As of today I do own KMR EPD ETP MWE. I am in for the long haul-- for the estate reasons, after all being 80 I dont have a long haul. Maybe 10 or 15 yrs.

    • nsupper-

Don't know where Abter is now, but you mention investing in pipeline companies. MWE is not a pipeline play. MWE is a midstream processor and is subject to commodity price fluctuations. Others in the MLP universe are more pipelines such as BWP - an almost pure pipe and stroage company, and KMP, EPD, ETP all have much more of their asset base in pipes.

    • zzxxyy you are correct etp is rite . tnx much

    • I'm certainly not who you addressed your question to, but assuming that you meant etp and not ept, I agree that those are three of the best. All three bottomed out on 9/2 or 9/3 in the las quarterly cycle. MWE hit a high of 23.54 on 7/24 and then a low of 18.88 on 9/3. While MWE went above 27 on a few days, the high at close was 26.71 on 10/21. While past performance may not predict future performance it would seem like the time to buy would be late November or early December. Since MWE pays a higher distribution percentage it will be MWE that I will be looking to buy in that time frame.
