They're involved in everything from commercial kitchen equipment used by McDonald's, Starbucks etc. to welding equipment(Miller Welding). Automotive, construction and many more businesses. I work for them. And own the stock.
I did not know until just recently that ITW made LPS/2, a spray lubricant. I cannot attest to its lubricating qualities, but it is an excellent rust inhibitor. I spent 10 years at sea and rusting tools were always a problem until I discovered LPS/2. I just sprayed the contents of my tool box before I put the tools away and it solved the rust problem. The stuff sort of congeals into a tacky, but not greasy coating and protects the metal from moisture, a bit like cosmoline, but far less greasy.
I used to use WD-40 which is great for freeing up rusted or corroded parts, but it can’t compare to LPS/2 as a rust inhibitor.
