I think the patent issue is a gross misunderstanding of industry by people with short interest or novice investing experience. This is not pharmaceuticals. A flood of cheap generics that have the same affect is not going to happen the next day in September...
It's coffee. Tell me something else (besides AAPL) where people are more brand-loyal? It takes time to build up agreements, earn shelf space, design reliable, competitive machines, etc. GMCR has a HUGE head start.
I doubt you actually were interested in this viewpoint, and were really just trying to spread short propaganda, unfortunately.
The expiring patents cost us money-We actully pay huge sums of money for them.Because other companies have licenced them to us.Soon we wont have to pay one dime for them. And the profits of the Keurig will advance our revenues.110 was overvalued. But 26 is a joke. When shorts find out that they have nothing to catch here they will cover and leave.
