After a series of problems reported on some Boeing 787 Dreamliners prompted the Federal Government to launch a safety probe last week, Japan Airlines reported another fuel leak on a 787 that has already been the source of some problems.Appaerntly the same plane that suffered a fuel leak in Boston last week experienced another 100-liter leak at an airport outside of Tokyo, Live5News reports.A separate Japanese airline, All Nippon Airways, has also reported problems with the 787s including a fuel leak, a cracked cockpit wndow and a malfunctioning computer.
Now the big question is do we see cancelled orders or the FAA do a "complete" shutdown of the 787? In either case, Boeing stock is going to take a hit this week.
If anyone is canceling they are just showing their ignorance about aviation. The media has a tendency to make mountains out of mole hills. Then again they did me a favor as I added to my position on last week's dip.
