Stocks tumble on fears of Fed rate hikes, DOW falls 63 and NASDAQ down 38.
CC just following the market today.

The magic 3 1/2 months leading up to Xmas and this from Motley The company has been substantially increasing spending in advertising, particularly in its national magazine campaign. But there is a payoff; the increases have enabled it to multiply its circulation base from 35 million magazine issues last year to 147 million in the latest quarter.

Another marketing tool management is pleased with is its catalog, which has been used primarily to "drive increased traffic" to its stores. The circulation for the Coldwater Creek book will double in the second half of the year with mailings planned in the third and fourth quarters.

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas, let the shopping begin.

Good advice is always certain to be ignored, but thats no reason not to give it. Agatha Christie

    • Hello Pumper.

The retail sector was down less than 1%, while CWTR was down 3.5%.

Keep you head in the sand and when you pull it out this stock will be in the low $20's.

      • Keep it up sharp boy, you might convince yourself CWTR is a good short. The question is will it move towards it's all time high or settle a little. After making the S&P midcap there is definitely more interest. I would suggest you keep the short position open through the next earnings report so I can take your money. Post often so I can rub your nose in your own.............well, every one knows.

How intuitive of you, I had calibrated the price though closer to $23.00 post split in maybe late January or February.

No, actually just a trader posting the facts, I dont believe CC needs pumping.
