The drop in PPS has been brutal, another all-time low today.
Strangely, the short interest has come down:
What does everyone make of this?
rodney your opinion is always moot see the posts after you write. You make cowardly and unfair accusations then you hide when people ask you your contact information.
Instead of crawling into a hole and dying- and for the first time making people happy- you keep up your bs
I think the market has decided that ABR is going to cut the dividend. How low this goes depends on the dividend decision. >>
This is a REIT. You can't cut dividends w/o violating the tax law.
The question really is whether some of the loans are bad and/or that there is no funding available to make new loans. The market thinks so.
I agree - sector issue and certainly not selling at these absurd valuations unless something company specific comes to light. ABR is getting killed along with the rest of the financials, including BDC's like ALD, ACAS, etc. XLF has powerful support at $20 going back to 2000, so finacials are probably very near a bottom and should attract a lot of buying soon. I'm not adding any more ABR because I've already got plenty at much higher prices, but I believe management will navigate us through this mess over the next year or two and if they do, then I will be satisfied (hopefully).
Kyjelly symbol OUCH may might the slide feel better but you know in the end you've been f--ked.
Anyway cant' figure this co out. I have 90% of my assets in natural gas stocks and wanted to diversity.
ARL and TCi are both real estate related and have also dropped however they own apts and sell at 1/3 of book 1/4 of real value. Management has been spotty/
yep, still long...can't make anything of the PPS over than it's getting grouped in with the financial sector and is plummetting with the rest of them like JPM, C, BAC, etc...
I'm looking to buy more once it settles...long term I still it's a great investment
