Once again the professional military experts... i.e. the Chiefs of the Army, Navy, Marines and AF, testify contrary to FiBs bold assertions. I ask. Is FiBs truly this dumb or is he just dissembling more slowly.
And you FiBs make errors of enormous substance. Seldom find any sources to cite for your facts/opinions. Know so little about investing in general that you are wise enough thus far to keep your mouth shut on this board. And seem to think you spout orignial thougt when in fact it is NeoCon drivel that others have expressed many times better. But you indeed are a good speller. But as I say, no one is perfect.
I don't know how it did. Just recall when I first bought some shares.. maybe 20 or more years ago, it was one of about a dozen large companies that had not been tempted over to the NYSE. Are you telling me that I am mistaken or that they are now listed.
A.C. Alf, liberal newspapers seem to screw up reporting due to misperception and ignorance or when slanted information suits their purpose. Then goofuses such as yourself attempt to proliferate the tripe to the unsuspecting.
For example, you may be aware we have roughly 110,000 U.S. Army soldiers and 20,000 marines stationed in Iraq, roughly 130,000 men and women.
Keeping that in mind, while reading your story, did you ask yourself why 130,000 troops reportedly already have 400,000 sets of body armor, yet need another 373,000 sets this year(?) Stated another way, are 773,000 sets needed so they will have a different set each day of the week, similar to changes of underwear(?) Since 773K only covers six days, what do they wear on the seventh(?) Perhaps they operate on a shorter week than the rest of us(?)
As part of routine budget requests, the military chiefs defend their budgets before Congress. If we were at peace everywhere, this process would still be going on. Undoubtedly, they are telling Congress something (perhaps that 773,000 armor sets are needed WORLDWIDE for some specified period). The LA Times is not an ideal source to learn what they are saying.
Finally, we agree that I am not very smart. Do you ever stop to consider the reality that, intellectually, our discussions are a bit like me as Roadrunner and you as Wile E. Coyote(?)
dawn....good points....but i think the double armour maybe counting updated new stuff replacements...bot the old stuiff..bot new to replace..................
in any case...DBH and AH (hummers) should play well..regardless how you and alph resolve it...crdn too perhaps
