NEW BUCHANAN BOOK DECLARES 'END OF AMERICA'
    Sun Nov 25 2007 20:40:15 ET

    **Exclusive**

"America is coming apart, decomposing, and...the likelihood of her survival as one nation...is improbable -- and impossible if America continues on her current course," declares Pat Buchanan. "For we are on a path to national suicide."

The best-selling author and former presidential candidate is on the eve of launching his new epic book: DAY OR RECKONING: HOW HUBRIS, IDEOLOGY AND GREED ARE TEARING AMERICA APART.

This time, Buchanan goes all the way:

"America is in an existential crisis from which the nation may not survive."

The U.S. Army is breaking and is too small to meet America’s global commitments.

The dollar has sunk to historic lows and is being abandoned by foreign governments.

U.S. manufacturing is being hollowed out.

The greatest invasion in history, from the Third World, is swamping the ethno-cultural core of the country, leading to Balkanization and the loss of the Southwest to Mexico.

The culture is collapsing and the nation is being deconstructed along the lines of race and class.

A fiscal crisis looms as the unfunded mandates of Social Security and Medicare remain unaddressed.

All these crises are hitting America at once -- a perfect storm of crises.

    Specifically, Buchanan contends:

    • Pax Americana, the era of U.S. global dominance, is over. A struggle for global hegemony has begun among the United States, China, a resurgent Russia and radical Islam

    • Bush’s invasion of Iraq was a product of hubris and of ideology, a secular religion of “democratism,” to which Bush was converted in the days following 9/11

    • Torn asunder by a culture war, America has now begun to break down along class, ethnic and racial lines.

    • The greatest threat to U.S. sovereignty and independence is the scheme of a global elite to erase America’s borders and merge the USA, Mexico and Canada into a North American Union.

    • Free trade is shipping jobs, factories and technology to China and plunging America into permanent dependency and unpayable debt. One of every six U.S. manufacturing jobs vanished under Bush

    • “Sovereign Wealth Funds,” controlled by foreign regimes and stuffed with trillions of dollars from U.S. trade deficits, are buying up strategic corporate assets vital to America’s security

    • As U.S. wages are stagnant, corporate CEOs are raking in rising pay and benefits 400 to 500 times that of their workers

    • The Third World invasion through Mexico is a graver threat to our survival as one nation than anything happening in Afghanistan or Iraq

    * European-Americans, 89% of the nation when JFK took the oath, are now 66% and sinking. Before 2050, America is a Third World nation

    • By 2060, America will add 167 million people and 105 million immigrants will be here, triple the 37 million today.

    • Hispanics will be over 100 million in 2050 and concentrated in a Southwest most Mexicans believe belongs to them.

    • Why does this fellow, rvhink, not talk about KO and just complain? Can't he entertain us for the cost of this board, free?

    • funny how some people have to cloak themselves in the flag and "brotherly love". Self proclaimation of such, through writer tools, is a most disgusting habit by some.

...In response to my previous post... above... notice the threesome disappeared all together? Not a peep. But... have no fear... they'll all reappear at a more convenient time... as if that post never happened. They all know whw they are, and we all know what they are... their obvious guilt is unmistakeable. Like slithering snakes...they'll all resurface with more of the same. a typical cooling off period is their normal first step before resuming with the same ol' tired BS. Hell what else are these unceasing
blatherskites doing day after sad and boring day? One is a known and complete disgrace to this country who does nothing much other than post far left quotes from radical bloggers tearing down OUR country, with never a good word in it's defense. Another radical left hack, posing as an officer of the court, skews words as if he were defending OJ. And finally a used up and tired old fool who has no friends and simply posts to get the attention of anyone whose willing to tittleate his fancy and make his empty day by encourageing him to use his clever wordsmithing ability, in a continuing monotone with Webster's dictionary beside his side, so he can impress the unwary. In a clumsy attempt to mask his lack of historical facts, he rambles on trying to show his command of the English language as if he were well read, and highly educated enough to present himself as a learned scholarly type. However, the opposite shows through as if a spotlight shone upon him as of he was performing in a Broadway show. And that he does indeed... as a bumbliong idiot. Wait until tomorrow. They'll all be back, and just as sure as this post will be there, but in all probability, they'd all rather ignore it. Only pride will decide their reaction. They can hide and pretend it's not there. They can go into their usual word mumbo jumbo, but never really say anything of importance, or for that matter, show a modest and sincere trace of honesty. I hope I'm wrong, and none of them dare shows more of their impudent and egotistical arrogance. None are wanted... none are needed... none are appreciated... IMO.
I post this with tongue in cheek, remembering my desire for 'brotherly love' and kind and gentle posting. I'd retract these words, but I would not be truthful. However, I have done my best to be 'kind and gentle'... ouch... I bit my tongue.

    • The FORUM as you call it, is intended to talk about KO stock. Not your political views and every other, Chicken Little, the sky is falling, end of days prediction(s).

As far as your concern about someone infrining on your "freedome of speech", I would never infringe on your freedom of speech, I just wish you, and the DICK, would take it to a more appropriate forum for discussion and let this one be used for what it was intended!!

    • "In the spirit of brotherly love... rather than exasperate the root of all evil in this world... hate... wouldn't it be better and more productive to take a positive approach and love thy neighbor instead?"

      >>Your opinion, canucanoe, is fine as far as I'm concerned! But since you don't believe in "brotherly love", I don't ever hope to change your mind about anything. Your mindless posts, as well as the mindless posts of your ignorant counterpart contribute nothing to any discussion. Both of you are seen as useless entities (IMO) that I disrespect. As convoluted as your disingenous bait and switch posts, and those of your buttie go... I pay little attention. Both of you already trade barbs with enough superior minds of people that are willing to entertain your need for company... otherwise unavailable and unwilling to be bothered. Unless you decide to be kinder and gentler in your posts, I'll forgo any further discourse with you. In the spirit of brotherly love, I bid you good day.

    • "I was on the McDonalds, Corning and other blogs and I don't see current events there. So why is KO different?"

Blame it on the duck. No really. He speaks some truths the establishment finds offensive and just in case he gathers a following or some the like they sent in the squatters to hijack and monopolize this forum. If they could shut it down they would but for now this is their strategy. Buy all the tv and radio channels and control the message, and as for the internet... flood the opinion forums with vocal squatters and prevent the people seeing the rest of the picture. Once the half sane duck is gone most of the other regular aliases will disappear together.

    • Last time I looked, free fall was at least 20% in a day, perhaps 50% for a week. Yes, the dollar is soft, but why the hype. Just last week, it actually gained against both the Euro and Yen a few days. Contra to some opinions on this board the US and the dollar are not coming to a climatic end any time soon. In fact both are likely to rally over the next decade. For one thing, Bush will be gone along with his Iraq MIssadventure and economic policy of protecting the most fortunate. The large banks and investment companies have all been sharply down-sized over the past 3 months. The system is working.

    • j4, I'm sorry and will correct my prior statement as inaccurate:

I'm sorry to see that you do not accept, nor respect, an opposing opinion. Your diatribe once again confirms your disrespect for free speech. Wielding it as a weapon, by wrapping yourself in its "flag", is disgusting and regressive childish behaviour.

As for my KO position, please let me know what it is you are referring to. I think you are hallucinating again.

    • This is not a blog. It is a forum for people to voice their opinions. You can certainly voice your opinions any way you please. I doubt your whining will change anything that people are free to talk about here. As far as KO's foreign business is concerned... it doesn't change your losing position which unfortunately is denominated in the US$, which is in freefall and in great danger. Yes... losing. I know the price is going up, but you'd be smarter to move your KO investment to a foreign account that will be denominated in a stronger currency. In declining dollars, you are riding a lame horse, and will regret your decision to ignore reality. I wouldn't try telling you what might be a better way to spend your dollars, but there are much better and safer ways to protect your money, than in American stock certificates, and/or American bank accounts. BTW...we don't need further attempts to infringe on our freedom of speech. Never-the-less...I wish you well.
