Annualized Gain (yield): The annualize yield return is based upon an investment account of $500M. It does not include earnings from T-Bills, money-markets, and Bonds. Further, it does not include the interest earned on the funds received by shorting. Lastly, it does not include the deduction of dividends which must be paid to owner of short stock.

    • ~~this gets more & more confusing (to me) by the week (or year)~~~~

      Perchance, that's the idear?

    • Mikie,

Thanks for telling the board about your beginnings with KO. Are you neutral on the stock at this point?

I enjoy reading your posts and, although we are poles apart politically, I respect your analysis of KO and your trading acumen. Its refreshing to me to see that liberals unashamedly like to make money too! As for the taxes, just go ahead and pay more than you owe. Nobody is stoping you, in fact I for one would greatly appreciate it if you did. :)LOL.

Oh, and I agree with you that he unnecessary interest rate increases by Greenie and his cohorts was a big mistake.

      Best of luck,

      GR

    • REGARDING: Your "GOAL for year ended 04/18/04 = 35% Gain" on a $7,000 investment?! The gain is not worth the work.

RESPONSE: I agree that a 35% gain on $7,000 would not be worth the effort. The $7,000 is somewhat erroneous..., by about 71 times.

      best,

      Michael Z.
