Will Shrek run past $300Mil this weekend?

    Will anyone care?

Sorry but as a long term shareholder, this stock is starting to look like my early years with Pixar.

    Analysts aren't impressed
    The market's not impressed
Shareholders aren't impressed (with the stock price)

Shareholders know they have a winner

You need strong hands to win with this one yet shareholders will have their day

    • Does anyone know if Dreamworks has a relationship with one or more theme parks?

Disneys ability to push their characters in front of million of people each year does an incredible amount to strengthen their franchises (Anyone else looking forward to the nemo submarine ride at Disneyland?).

IMHO, if Dreamworks doesnt have a partnership with Six Flags or Cedar Fair or one of the other big players then they should consider it.

In fact, a merger with either SIX or FUN (or both) could go a long ways towards building the next big entertainment empire.

      Tis something to think about

      Take care,

      • I believe DreamWorks Animation had an exclusive arrangement with Universal Studios (Shrek-4D) but that agreement has since lapsed so that DWA could pursue other options...

On December 18, 2006, DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. (the "Company") entered into an Amendment to the Separation Agreement (the "Amendment") by and among the Company, DreamWorks Animation LLC ("DWA"), DreamWorks LLC ("DWS"), Diamond Lane Productions, Inc. and Steven Spielberg.

The Amendment amends Section 6.01(b) of the Separation Agreement dated as of October 27, 2004 (the "Separation Agreement") by and among the Company, DWA and DWS. Pursuant to Section 6.01(b) of the Separation Agreement, the Company was generally prohibited from engaging in any theme-park activities (other than through Universal Studios, Inc.). The Separation Agreement was previously filed as Exhibit 10.1 to the Company's Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2004.
