First it was the 3D thing, the market thinks it's an expensive FAD, then being slated for 2 movies a yr. for the next few isn't enough for the price, they question the DVD sales(KFP1 sold mils.in '09), and now they say that HBO has the rights for DWA's pay TV which limits things. KFP2's doing great overseas but less than expected here. To name a few. Target lowered from 25 to 18-21. Short excuses or not ?
The DreamWorks Animation catalogue surely benefits from Netflix and any other platform that comes to fruition?
This reminds me of the Disney play in the late 1970s... I read an article years ago about how Buffett noticed Disney's movie catalogue was cast off as old, and unworthy. Well, Buffett wasn't sure if the VHS or the Record or whatever would win, but he knew the Disney catalogue would be ported to the latest platform.
I see the same with DWA.
I am a new owner, and will likely add it it drops a few more points. We'll see.
