I saw this, too, and I couldn't help thinking this was a terrible spot to advertise a movie like this. The timeslot was too late, and placing it during a football game seems like it's going after the wrong audience - not to mention the priciest ad space.
Overall, I can't help thinking that DWA is a company which has lost its way a bit in the past year. The marketing decisions for this movie, the title, and the storyline all seem flawed to me. I like DWA, and hold a fair amount of it (2000+ shares), but they really seem to have lost their footing lately. I have very high hopes about Turbo, but the rest of their 2013 lineup has me thinking I might be better off liquidating my position on the next run up to 18.00+ and buying back in around this time next year.
If the company had a dividend, I might hold thru the year, but other than Turbo, they just don't seem to have any films with real potential to drive growth this year, and leaving my money parked while I wait on 2014 seems like a huge waste of time to me.
I saw a bit of croods, and I was hooked. I see it being a very big family film this summer. Keep in mind it was directed by the same guy who did How to Train your Dragon and Lilo and Stitch (2 of my favorites films)
