Even if there is a buyout; they can't get $30/sh. Just short this with both hands; nothing can hurt shorts at this point.. This rally is the dumbest thing I have seen in a long time. This company has 8 months of NO NEW RELEASE WHICH THEY HEAVILY RELY ON. Last film Turbo is looking worse than The Guardians which had $89 million of write off loss, and now the stock tares it up from 16 to 30. You gotta be kiddin me!!!!!
I highly doubt they will get any bid; they barely make any profit. adn they are pros at making movies. Hand this down to another company they will definately lose money. Too many companies now have digital animation capabilities. Anyone with movie making capabilities have animation capability, Sony Fox; you name it. They don't need a debt infested company.Pixar was bought by Disney, which they now probably regret. Animation was hot 10 years ago because only a few companies knew how to do it; now eveyrone knows it.
1.9 billion - debt of 200 million- debt of 300 million, worth is 1.4 billion. EVen if there is a buyout; this company is worth $15/sh-- that is why it has been hovering around 15-16/sh for many years. That is why the short kept their positions at around 30% of total volume. Market cap is now 2.5 bil, almost doubling what this company is worth in asset.
