All my shares are old OMPT stock options. I've got thousands of shares that are underwater. Two years ago, when I retired, DT was at $18.20. I don't want to take a loss, but will start selling shares soon as I no longer have the patience for this pos. The proceeds will go to my uranium investments, up several hundred percent in the past year.
$9000 wouldn't get you very far with a wedding these days, esp. in NY....better to take the $13.67 and head to city hall. Either way...good luck and thanks for the reassurance I wasn't losing my mind about the July refund.
I'm in New York.
They took out the German tax- 21.1% from the dividend I got last year (and this year), and I got a refund of part of it in July.
Now, I only own 300 shares of this. Based on my DT tax refund last July of $13.67 and your DT tax refund last July of $9,000.00, then you own an incredible amount of shares...almost 200,000 shares by my calculations.
I hope I'm wrong and I should have gotten a check for $9000 too....lol...I've got a wedding to pay for this fall!
Who was the $9000 check from? T-Mobile?
I never got anything other then the dividend last and this May; and then a credit back on the foreign taxes paid a month or so later.
I've also had this stock since it was OMPT.
