    • Why invest in them when there is no real capital protection.

It's like investing in those low fee
Canadian Bond Funds--we could do better
      by sticking with a DRIP.

Even Alcoa or Corning would serve you better.

    • i have same question on in law says they are the best. Im gonna view this as a international bond equivalent in my portfolio..high yielding but no expectations beyond that.price will fluctuate...i wish it were an equity...someone correct me if im wrong...Thinking 3-4% of my portfolio....and sell it for a capital loss if it falls 20%...???

"The PRT Forest Regeneration Income Fund is a publicly traded income fund, which was created to hold all common shares and certain notes of PRT.

PRT is the largest producer of container grown forest seedlings in North America, consisting of a network of nurseries in Canada and the U.S. Collectively these nurseries produce in excess of 140 million seedlings per year.

The Fund pays to its unitholders monthly, by way of distribution of interest, dividends or capital, cash flow generated from the business of PRT. Units of the Fund are listed for trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the trading symbol PRT.UN."
