drove a jetta while on vacation in colorado

Wanted a Focus but they didn't have one so they "upgraded" us to a Jetta. Total piece of crap. No power at all, made merging into 75 mph I25 a frightening experience. And you can forget about the mountain driving. Oh and try to crack the windows an inch while you go into a store, its all the way up or all the way down. I will take my Focus against this upgrade any day. Oh and German engineering, I have seen it elsewhere also and I am not at all impressed.

    • I like in Colorado and drive a Jetta TDI and I love the car! What it lacks is HP it more than makes up for with torque. I have no problem with power in the mountain...even without using the sport mode (yea, I have an auto). It's a great car and fun to drive. But go ahead and keep your Ford...I'll never be driving a F again.
