He now is up to 3 million shares of SCLN, or 8.1%. He bought SCIO at $4 roughly. Sold some at $18. Most of rest between $28 - $32. Rolled a lot back into SCLN - which was up 30% today, or 70 cents. Still have about two years to wait for final end all approval news...but it ain't gonna sit at $3 while the trials and news continue. Kirk is too smart. He also just sold his privately held medical device company to NOVI - or which he owns 37%.
If you look at the 5-year chart of SCLN, what you're saying doesn't make any sense unless Kirk bought VERY recently. His holdings may have IMPROVED 2.1 million, but he would have had to have bought a few weeks ago to have MADE that much. My understanding was that he rolled his money back in just somewhat before all the interested parties here were buying at $5, 6 and 7. Since it's barely at $3, I'd say a lot of people are still in the hole. [My only interest is that I owned it for awhile, got tired of it constantly dropping and got out at a loss.} BTW GERN was another with big gains today.
