After selling the only longterm solution for this company off what's left? It's really a dairy company selling a declining product which is becoming less and less relevant. This debt loving dog doesn't even pay a divi. Should see this dog slowly move to the sub $10 range (again) with the next market signif pullback.
Really? A shell? I will agree that milk has declined in its fight for "share of the stomach" however you still see the segment alive and well. Look at how many additional channels are now looking to capture part of the "declining" "less relevant" product. CVS, Walgreens, Dollar General, Family Dollar are all capturing additional sales by adding these sku's. You have Fluid Processors that are manufacturing a milk gallon jug for $.14; filling it for $.11; warehousing it for $.20; delivering it for $.25 with Selling and Admin coming in around another $.20. The balance is Raw Product Cost and Profit.
Are you saying that General Mills and Post and all the Private Label Cereal Manufactures have it wrong as well? I would look for Walmart or other Grocery Wholesaler to try and lock in "Contract Rates" as they battle Kroger, Safeway, Meijer and other Grocery chains that have taken on their own Dairy Processing. Perhaps even Dean will go after those and attempt to buy out some of the captives and lock in long term supply arraingements on a "Cost Plus" basis.
Hey longie, I know enough about it that I've been profiting on it long and short. I sure I've made at least 2x as much as you on this even if u bought in the $7's. Company is a disaster. No WhiteWave? No future.
