the fact that the CPA accounting network is infiltrated with fraud and organized crime shows the depth of corruption all investors are at risk. all of these big corporations are supposed to have both internal and external accounting controls but obviously the national and international publicly traded corporate world is infested and includes the SEC itself. you know a tree by its fruit. look at how many companies have made questionable buyouts of losers, failed to pay bills on time, and on and on and on. stocks are nearly pure gambling and right now those who own short sale rights rule more than ever. short selling alone is an example of legalized crookery in the stock market, why should somebody be allowed to sell your stock out from under your account. or over short etf's to the tune of 5 fold or more? these are the sorts of things the bushes, clintons, and obamas are afraid to touch are bought off on too.
Ever lived in an apartment building? I have, and we had silverfish infestations, which was just a hair better than having roaches.
Kinda makes one wonder how all that Creative Financing/Accounting went on for Years; when Highly degreed folks were on sites and countin' the change. Much less, how did the Auditors miss those "skips"?
Just as an Outside Observer: I'll say, Someone was not doin' their job. And the others were makin' sure they didn't.
Just a casual overview; I could have it all wrong, as usual.

This is what I tried (no doubt in vain) to explain to Zedolado last night. Even if I stipulate (and I don't) that he has a deterministic econometric model for stock prices, what good is it when the input data is a bunch of lies?
