Thank you for sharing all your knowledge with all of us. The information is always correct, and you are a gentleman as opposed to others who live on this board and post hogwash. Keep on posting. I enjoy your posts here and even better on the club board (You go into more detail and explanation). Thanks again AV

I would also extend the thanks to Morpholino, Redplate, and many others ...
2. Volatility I checked the IMPLIED VOLATILITIES on near-at-the-money CALL OPTIONS with 3-6 months to maturity, for a handful of biotechs. AVII stands out as one of the stocks in this group with the highest implied volatility, around 100% (annualized). Interestingly, the one stock with a higher volatility that I was able to find was GNTA (Genta), another, albeit different, "antisense tech" company (ISIS has a 65% implied. vol.). What this tells me is that the market sees "antisense tehcnology" as extremely risky, which means its potential is really BIG. Now, since many paople on this board - including myself - are very confident in the technology as interpreted by AVII, options market quotes are giving us a proxy of the stock potential for appreciation, that is 100% annualized. In other words, this stock is "a make or break" one, that's the current market view. Any scientific result from AVII that would significantly exceed expectations, would translate in a swifter appreciation of the stock (than already discounted) and further room for appreciation. (I would add that if AVII succeeds, as I think it will, other stocks now viewed as relatively less risky could suddenly acquire the status of "break" stocks... and that's not discounted presently,of course). It's only a matter of time, before most if not ALL investors will find out. At that time, hopefully, the media will stop favoring AVII "supposed" competitors.
