Your timing seems right for a 60-week read - the 48-week data was released on Oct 3, so 12 weeks from that date is Dec 26 - since they pushed it to 62 weeks you are looking at the 2nd week of January. I know this is somewhat of a gray area, but this would have to be considered material information, so I don't believe the company has the ability to withhold the results. I agree with simp that they don't want to be taunting the FDA with a dramatic announcement just before the big meeting, but I'm not sure they have the legal wiggle room to withhold the data from the public if it is significant, one way or the other?
I would suggest you get comfortable while you wait for the impending 62-week data
do NOT hold your breath unless you are in a hospital emergency room, so they can revive you after your ticker goes kaput
there is a certain person who shall remain nameless that does not want to release that data at any time prior to the FDA meeting, which meeting could be as late as mid February
its all going to eventually come
but for us longs who were hoping for 62 week data as a very near term binary event to rocket the stock (which I agree it would have), we need to realize that the folks in control are making decisions that are geared toward their views on how to maximize the FDA relationship, as to opposed to immediate rocketing of the stock
and if the FDA stuff goes as hoped, the stock will redefine rocket anyway
