If there had been an adverse change in safety, efficacy or a significant delay, you would have felt the price drop in the pit of your stomach. This wave down is simply an orderly counter-trend to the long bull run up. Remember, the stock rose from 3.67 to 55.60 in 15 months. That’s a 1500% increase in just 15 months. Trees don’t grow to the sky. The stock is 72% owned by institutions which take year-end profits, especially as the biotech sector has been experiencing blow-ups of late: Amarin, Ariad.
Current demand simply dried up at higher levels, but as the price comes down, shorts cover and buyers who have been desperate to get in at a more affordable price become emboldened. The stock is still above its 200 moving average and has only had a 34% retracement which is still considered bullish, believe it or not.
Your not missing anything. Don't pay attention to this board. You've got a bunch of idiots that try to act like they know more then they do to create doubt. Why are they doing this? They probably sold & want to reenter as low as possible.
Can't be just bashing that's making the stock drop this much. Aside from seekingalpha douche bag reiterating the same things over, what is it that's driving the stock lower? Great opportunity to buy more on this pullback but why such a big pullback?
