SRPT has been trading along with the biotechnology index on low volume. There has been one exception. That is the one day last week where everything was up big time. The upward movement was not important that day. What was important was that on that day, the volume was almost double of normal.
Doing a phase 3 is baked into the current pps. My belief is that we will get a provisional approval along with having to do the phase 3 trial at the same time, with the emphasis on safety. There is just too much out there in the public domain for these spineless politicals to allow these kids to die untreated. The folks in the know buying the $40 calls know just what they're doing.
This science is simply pristine as well as their safety profile. Take it fro me, a real old timer. ....This is a winner. I have twice won BIG time......now it will be 3 times.......Good luck to all my old time friends.....Regards Ruby
Sentiment: Strong Buy
We're doing a Phase 3 no matter what. Even if eteplirsen can submit an NDA early. That has never been in question.
I would have to disagree with you about P3 being baked into the current share price. If the FDA requires a full-blown, placebo-controlled Phase 3 that will delay getting eteplirsen to market for 3-4 years, the share price is going to take a significant haircut likely hitting and possibly breaking the 52-week low, particularly given the current climate across biotech. That being said, I don't believe the FDA will require such a P3, so I'm not expecting this at all. I do have cash though if this happens, and I will scoop up as many shares as I can. Then I'll sit on them for a few years.
EXACTLY what I'm doing to HW. I own plenty, but if they put it on sale, I've been hoarding cash and somehow not been touching it, just so that I could be fully loaded in the event that it goes on sale yet again. I hope to double my current holdings in that event. I think that will SUCK, for may reeasons, but I'm still gonna double up it it happens.
M J, I hope everything is good with you and your family! I am surprised that you have stepped up and commented on the status at this time knowing you being this long. I agree with your statement and hope the FDA gives in. The "science is pristine" statement that everybody knows except the FDA, is a problem and it is out there for everybody to read, comprehend and approve, but here we are in a mud hole with no traction.
