“I said to the board, ‘This is a program that every company in the industry would love to have, why would we partner it? Why don’t we bring it forward ourselves and create value?’” Garabedian recalled.
This is the greedy sick attitude that has cost lives. Does he really not understand that the delays caused by this go it alone maneuver?
I don't understand why there isn't a picket line of kids in wheelchairs in front of his home every night.
You moron, CEO's are supposed to create value for their shareholders. THAT is their fiduciary duty. Giving away the company when you are already holding the winning hand is what an idiot would do.
And, he ran his thoughts by his BOD, and they concurred. It was not a decision made exclusively by the CEO. The BOD signed off on the idea, which seems like good management to me.
YOU are the one who has caused real harm because of your greedy, self possessed approach even though, you more than most, realize that in fact, this drug should be granted AA based on the data already in hand. You should be ashamed of yourself, though I know your greed blinds you to that fact. You're one sick puppy.
Grey, if the only problem the fda has is the manufacturing capabilities of sarepta and if the ceo is prohibited by high cost to produce enough drug then chris should have had a partnership sealed long ago...if this is true, then starfe and pasteur are the wisest people on this board....I expressed my concerns about manufacturing ability of sarepta few days ago...I always thought in my simplistic way of thinking that if we can produce eteplirsen in enough quantity to satisfy the fda then fda can not refuse....I really hope this is not the problem...if it is then chris is guilty..not the fda....lets see.
