    VIX curve

Been a long time since we've seen it this flat, just 7% separating spot from three months out. Noticed awhile back that it seems to get this way before big market drops.

But then we also found it gets this way before huge market spikes. A flat VIX curve is always one huge green day away from being a steep curve again.

So my take, totally useless, the kind that makes me roll my eyes when I read it, is that a big move is coming and I don't know which way.

We don't get a flat VIX curve very often. Any views on what it's signalling?
