When will this be voted on?

When will the proposal officially be voted on? Listening to the Flattery it seems that he considers it official policy now - it does need to be voted on correct? To all of our Canadian friends, do the Tories have the votes to pull this off in your opinions?
    Thanks!

    • I am having trouble recognizing the authority of Mr. Flaherty's role in government. It seems that he can act with impunity by changing regulations related to tax matters on his own. Then, people say that there needs to be a vote. What position of reference in the US would parallel Mr. Flaherty, if one exists. I have seen some pompous statements from Mr. Flaherty, but haven't really seen the opposition party tear him a new one like they would in the States. Trying to learn about Canadian politics.

    • Most likely never. He doesn't have the votes and he knows it. The vote he has to worry about now is a no confidence vote ON HIM.
