    Secession and the COMEX

With all the secession discussion and petitions hitting the White House, what might happen to PM trading exchanges like the COMEX and regulators like the CFTC? If this movement ever got “legs” and a successful peaceful transition took place would similar exchanges spring up in other states with their own and probably less corrupt versions that investors would flock to because they are relatively unfriendly to market manipulators? Would that create the “spark” that sends PMs to the stratosphere?

    http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/secession-petitions-now-filed-50-states-183500440.html

The Yahoo writer goes on to state the following:

“…Of course, the petitions are little more than symbolic—and nothing new. Similar petitions were filed after the 2004 and 2008 elections. And at least one petition filed on the site asks that the president sign an executive order to strip U.S. citizenship from anyone who signed a petition to secede and requests that they are "peacefully deported. …"

Notice that current Yahoo links requiring “white listed” websites appear to have a particular bias that many do not support.

Let’s say that, like many illegal aliens, those slated for deportation either don’t leave, or come back into the country illegally. Will they then become eligible to be considered as prime candidates for employment, without benefits, of course, just like the “undocumented”? Will the DHS refuse to sanction employers that hire them, just like current “undocumented workers”? Will they be rounded up in PR style raids for deportation so the Feds can show that “they mean business”? Will the businesses that employ them create slush funds for the election of politicians that see to it that deportations are rare?

This line of conjectures could go on forever. What do any of you think? This could get VERY interesting.

    • I respectfully disagree with the succession movement.

A large, unified group of varied individuals with multiple skill sets, assets and organizational skills is far stronger than a small unit of principled and polarized persons.

Diversity is strength! Fight for the ones you love, respect the others, get along and learn at all times...

Our civilization has come too far to fail because of a group of pigs slobbering at the public trough...

      I like this quote:

"When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won.

There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall."

      Gandhi

Really? It seems that, at least partially, Obama can point to an overwhelming percent of the black vote for him. That part was strictly a racist decision from that segment of the population.

“…respect for others…” ? Does a decision to vote based on skin color indicate a respect for others?

“…Our civilization has come too far to fail because of a group of pigs slobbering at the public trough... “

Apparently the Democrat majority in the US Senate and in the statehouses of many states indicates otherwise.

“"When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. …”

Depending on timeline, that is only partially true. Rome took 100’s of years to sink into ignominy. Do you think you can wait that long?

“…There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall …”

That seems to be becoming less true, particularly when timeline is considered. The tyranny we are currently experiencing is largely hidden from most people because it is a Creature of the central banks, ongoing ever since the cabalists met at Jekyll Island in 1910. It is at the heart of nearly all current loss of freedom, disdain for our Constitutional rights by our politicians and judiciaries, corruption in corporations. It accounts for the rise of socialist thinking.

We still have a First Amendment in our US Constitution, BUT, none of the guarantees of freedom of press and speech are utilized within mass media criticisms of the fiat money we are forced to live under. About the only glimmer of hope of that is when the pundits in the mass media receive “profit center” advertising from those who have PMs to sell. There is a tremendous lack of spine of those who broadcast their “conservative” views.

Does anyone on this message board want to address the previous paragraph? No? Then why are you visiting a message board largely dedicated to a company whose output opposes the ongoing viability of counterfeit money? Are just selfish expectations of investment profits, constantly attacked by banksters, rather than the hope that our freedoms will be restored by a return to honest money the motivations? There seems to be a huge amount of cynicism that fails on a regular basis to be willing to openly attack the fundamental problem of counterfeit money issued by central banks with the full support of central governments. This all discounts the notion of massive stupidity.

This topic was about the secession movement petitioning the White House. Many are fed up with the lack of movement towards ending all of the previously aforementioned issues that are destructive of middle class wealth. Just remember that Ghandi’s thinking predated the age of the Internet, and yet here we are with the tools to put a stop to monetary tyranny before governments everywhere adopt the Internet “kill switch”.

    • Addendum:

Maybe being a “coyote” for those deported for supporting secession and seeking re-entry might become a “growth” industry that should be investigated for wealth preservation.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

      • Secession will grow legs as the gov steals from all through inflation cause the debt is so high it can never be paid back at current rate or any rate for that matter!
When welfare as we know it ends as it can not be funded and ss becomes insolvent(not that it isnt already)the riots will ensue and all hell will break lose!
Its coming as it has no choice!
Layoffs will increase as there is less and less and spirals out of control!
Like Ross perot said free trade will be the end of America as we know it well here we are at that cross roads!
