    Lowering Xbox prices today <eom>

"Patel said the inability of triple-A titles to hold $60 pricing for more than six months when most potential buyers are hard-core gamers -- who are not traditionally put off by high prices -- raises concerns about the sustainability of average selling prices and profits."

What a clown. These are all slightly upgraded ports of current gen games you can buy for less than half the price. In some cases the current gen games had already sold their lot before the next gen port arrived. Who would expect big sales from these? As more and more quality next gen exclusives get released things will get better.

    • Very foolish argument. Madden 06 for 360 was lacking several features that the current-gen versions had(owner mode, ability to challenge calls, etc), plus Madden 07 is coming out in a little over two months. Of course they're going to lower the price of games like these. Why would someone pay full price for a game like Madden 06 for 360 when they know a brand-new version is coming right down the pike?
