I have a question for ANYONE who listened to that youtube-linked, 20 minute interview of Nolan last October.
I thought that he discussed SOME project and mentioned what sounded like "XSTRATA".
IF I heard correctly then I'm wondering what, if anything, this has to do with the following item posted today, March 22nd regarding Xstrata being wooed by Glencore:
EU scrutinizes $90B Glencore-Xstrata merger. EU regulators are taking a closer look at the proposed $90B tie-up between Glencore (GLCNF.PK) and Xstrata (XSRAY.PK) after receiving complaints that the deal might give the merged firm unfair power over zinc, nickel and coal. That, combined with Xstrata shareholders who want a higher bid and a Glencore board content to sit pretty, means it may take until 2013 for the mega-merger to move forward.
I only got 16 minutes and then it stopped but from my conference notes NW talked about the Donner minerals stream not online yet. It is a small stream from a copper mine which I believe he said is being managed by Xstrata. It was almost at the end of NW's talk just before Q&A.
Love that part where he mentions the 25% stream of the Gold out of that London based copper miner with the target asset located in Newfoundland, where they just discovered a pure Gold deposit..... And They don't pay for the product!!?
Doesn't get any better than that!
So glad I have Noland and crew doing DD for me in this marketplace. :-)
