Let's compare Palomino and Tengasco: In 2012 P produced 380,000 bbls of oil and T produced 272,000; in 2013 P produced 598,000 and T produced almost 200,000.
P has most of its wells (460) and is concentrated in Ness Country. In 2014 it drilled five successful wells in Ness with initial production of 10, 23, 60, 112, and 60 bbls. But in Trego County where they operate very close to Tengasco holdings they have a total of 33 .drillings. In 2014 they had 14 successful drillings with initial productions on those reported (some were completed without totals listed in July, 2014 and some oil wells are also reported with gas) of 9, 80, 27, 45, 48.42, 47, 140, 81, 128 and 70 bbls,
Is Tengasco really serious in looking elsewhere as the latest intents indicate?
p.s. Yes, P does have quite a few P & A but most of them seem to "lead" to a bigger productive well.
good post about palomino. re relocation greenwood village is less than 1/2 hr to denver and is home to over 20 oil and gas and related service companies. i also suggest that if anyone has concerns they call the company directly, they are responsive with the proviso that conversations do not get posted on the internet.
I admit Salas is getting even me more confused: who would have thought he would announce to move to Denver by the end of June where there are so many oil companies and then two weeks later (after the move) would announce he is moving out of Denver to where (maybe) one per cent of the oil companies are. This was all in the name of SAVING money. Please explain how much money Tengasco saved
by this double move in less than three weeks. So do we now move to Hays Kansas where there really are more oil companies than Greenwood Village and we would be really CL:OSE to Tengasco oil operations?
I hope so.. we have talked about this in the past but with us shareholders being almost as apathetic as management not too much was done. I personally know that a certain number of us hold a substantial part of the company but it seems that with all the complaining and disappointment as shareholders we have been very absent at the stockholder meetings.
Well, I don't know about you all, but I would be willing to chip in some money in order to send Oubobcat to the shareholder meeting. Not sure where you live Oubobcat, but 10 of us at $100 should be able to get you there and a hotel for a few nights... I would say it would definitely be worth it for me. Who's with me on this one?
What do you say Oubobcat, "If we can raise the dough, will you go?"
