They did not quantify how their production disruptions affected their Nand profits which were much lower than expected. (71) mm losses now in Other category. Everyone is expecting Elpida to turn this around. They said the same about Windows 8. Every kid is getting a tablet or smartphone for Christmas and Micron still can't make money in 8 out of the last 10 years. Even when profits are acheived they are quickly squashed by increasing supply. This stock has been a horrible investment choice for the last 10 years and we'll be luckey to see the shares in double digits again. Not sure the boys of Idaho care........they're making $500m a year in Idaho!
