    Gilder's Forbes/ASAP take on Micron

What's everyone's take on Gilder's piece in this month's Forbes/ASAP on the shifting power play between chip and memory manufacturers? His basic take is that memory is the weakest link in maintaining the Moore's law momentum in PC performance. So as the laws of physics slow down chip innovations, attention and power will shift to memory manufacturers to keep up the pace.

The article is titled, "Would Einstein short Intel?" -- just to give you Gilder's MO. He's very bullish on Micron for long-term. Also on VLSI.

    Any opinions?
