is this your brothers story in a week or so/
purchased my Avalon on 06-26-03, it has 6600 miles on it, it has been in the shop six times, one to have the rear seal fixed, three times for dash lights (check engine, etc) and twice for power steering problems. This is my second Avalon, the first one I had five years, all I had to do was replace the tires and change the oil, it had close to 75K miles when I traded it in and bought another new one. It appears that I have to look forward to the car being in the shop every month. I am filing arbitration, it doesn't look good. I am also filing a Lemon Law complaint directly with Toyota
my brother only drove gm autos for years. then bought toyota avalon. he is pleased with the auto. but he drives ford f250 pickup. there is quality in all the manufacturers. i personally drive ford and have had no problems. but dont like to put down other brands. but i do like to buy american when ever possible.
Americans who own toyotas--for the most part--are capitalists wanting the best deal, best quality, for their dollar. Americans who bash toyota are just plain old socialists and really should just be ignored. Long ans strong TM WOHOO!!!!!
