with the investor relations who after 3 emails has failed to respond in a week, I have never seen a company that didn't respond even if it was sorry we can not answer that question. They really don't care about people with this type of attitude, why even have a person hired for IR if they aren't going to respond??
finally got a response three times, lol, My major interest and what I learned is that Barclays was not handling sale of the 5.3 million shares, they actually purchased them and Jazz is uncertain or not saying what Barclays intentions are with the shares. possibilities IMO are 1) investment 2) buying for another party who may make an offer 3) may have already resold some on the 2 large volume days were we hit 1 million shares a day twice normal volume to reduce holding costs, At this point will have to wait to see outcome, not sure they have to report resale but I would think with a 10% holding that they would have to report. I know they have a lock out on any executives being able to sell stock for 60 days in their agreement to buy the stock which makes me originally think they were reselling most of it but if so I am sure they will do it astutely.
