Dhr has one of their brand name as craftsmen. You won't find these in hd. Stanley is a competitor of dhr which took many losses this year. Dhr coming out this year very nicely, just as i thought. It was my opinion against all shorts.
<DHR COMING OUT THIS YEAR VERY NICELY, JUST AS I THOUGHT. IT WAS MY OPINION AGAINST ALL SHORTS.>
Nice work Nostradamus - your prognosticative abilities are truly divine. If we all buy and sell only at the New Year, we'd be indebted to you.
I can look at the chart and see dozens of 'upswings'. Unfortunately, each one is accompanied by a downswing. You don't seem to call those ones so well. Similarly, your prediction of a stock split and $80 by years end never materialized. But I must say that your most entertaining prediction was for a strong performance in June due to "Father's Day sales" and $73 by close of June. June: down about 7% to $65.
And then there was this post from you in August: "DHR is set to reach upper 70's by year end. Count on it." Oops.
To your credit (which pains me because I know that it's luck) you prophesized about $75 sometime early last year and it got there. Unfortunately (again), you failed to call the almost immediate drop to the low 50s (All shorts' opinions against yours).
Be honest - you're just guessing, right?
So what does this all mean? It means that this dog is right where it was earlier this year; right where it was in early '01; right where it was in early '99; right about where it will be this time next year. Nice thing about a stock whose chart looks like a roller-coaster: everyone is eventually right - it goes up, it goes down. We're all winners!
Given the confidence that you have in your own predictive powers, care to make a prediction on where we'll be next year at this time? Since we can reasonably speculate that it's going to go up, then down, then up, then down... maybe you can be daring and name a price and tell us why.
