Beat the revenue estimate by $60 million. More importantly, the chairman indicated thatthe RV business remains "strong." Basically, I believe that THO and WGO are eating everyone's lunch (such as MNC, FLE, COA, etc.). The industry figures are all up year over year. 2003 is gonna be one heck of a year in my opinion. If sales have done this well over the past year and a half in the prvious economy, just think what they are gonna do when the economy and market start doing better. Anyone selling at these levels is either cash strapped or dumb.
My guesstimate, based on higher actual sales, would be an EPS of .60 vs estimate of .47 & prior year of .28. For this stock, the market and the economy to really get out of this funk, we got to get rid of this Iraq issue. I saw a good bumper sticker today:
