    Who moved the rock?

Al came scurrying out from under it.

Hey, Al, have any explanations here?

    Interesting chart.

Also interesting the two main stories under the chart are about:
    1) VCSY being delisted (December 1, 2004 - one day after receiving the patent for 6826744 November 30, 2004)

    2) VCSY suing Microsoft for infringement of that very patent (of course, long after VCSy was relisted December 6, 2005 - just before Vista was delayed).

What They should add to that short list of most notable events is this:

Microsoft settles patent lawsuit over .Net

Microsoft has reached a settlement in a patent-infringement lawsuit filed last year by Vertical Computer Systems, according to a filing by the mediator in the case: PDF, 1 page. The Fort Worth, Texas, company's complaint alleged that Microsoft's .Net development system violated a patent issued to Vertical in November 2004.

Now that Microsoft has settled with VCSy and has begun announcing many advancements to Sharepoint, there are many catching on.

Have you, Al? Or are you still claiming VCSY will be bankrupt and their intellectual property sold? That WAS what you've been saying since last year, wasn't it?

Go ahead and tell the readers what you think.
