This company is a turd. I have had a relationship with them and they never have work. Before you start with the loser comments....I easily get work through others and am a successful finance/systems consultant for 20 yrs. making well over 6 figures.
RHI blows. Havent brought me a prospect to even pursue in well over 6 years. I quit even bothering calling them and took them out of my network.
This is the highest level of unemployment our country has seen since the Great Depression. All agency recruiters are getting 100+ emails a day form unemployed candidates. RHI is placing people...but clients are being super specific in terms of what they will pay a finders fee for.
They post fake positions and when they go speak with you is just BS.
Corporate has them working on getting more resumes and more clients not making matches. They have Zero consulting spots and Zero perm spots. It’s just a matter of time before these facts show up on the revenue (or lack thereof) line.
Dude-Craigslist charges $25 per ad and Robert Half charges 1/3 of the worker's salary.
The employer's economic decision is clear.
The recruiters are highly intelligent and pleasant, but employers are uncertain about the economy.
Create instead of berate. Invent something and you can make all the money you want.
When there are at least 6 to 1 ratio of applicants to positions offered it is no surprise to not get a response. There are plenty of reasons to continue to be dire on the sector even as shareholders seem to rah-rah over less bad numbers rather then growing numbers.
It'll be interesting to see how RHI performs as competitors have gained market share through acquisition such as Adecco going forward.
