I will agree with you, it will go below $15 before it goes up. Historically in last 5 years November to mid of December is not a good year for sony with the exception of dec 2010. I expect the same thing will happen this year too.
It's not a relic, they still produce amazing products. Look at the Xperia line, PS4, and camera sensors (powering iPhones and most other smartphones). They just have lousy management at the time that is missing accountability and sound money management. Kaz is doing good, but he needs to do much, much more.
Be careful, any news of a spinoff (which has a 50/50 chance of happening) might send the stock up above $20. So tread carefully, both bears and bulls.
Real problem of SONY is they can't make money UNLESS Japan keeps cutting the YEN's value. THat's a 1-horse-pony show, over this year. WHat will they do for next year? Sell their SONY Headquarters buildings in Manhattan and Tokyo again, to raise capital to pay off bank loans? SORRY CAN ONLY DO THAT ONCE.
