    sne and tivo

Today Samsung announced it will stop production
    of Rambus chips.
    The Sega Dreamcast uses Rambus
chips. Possible no Dreamcasts for Xmas concidering
Samsung was the only Rambus manufacturer making chips.
Lokk for a big drop in Intel also.

    • interesting. I was nearly ready to pull the
trigger mid-last week on RMBS and decided NOT
too....lucky call. Intel really screwing 'em it sems. I think
many RMBS chips are already inventoried, not sure what
outcomes re Dreamcast system. That wouold sure hurt them
and help SNE. Don't know the technology enough to
      predict. I think you're right....should cost Intel
      shareholders too.

    • Intel has been way down - don't know what type of
chip Rambus uses, but you may want to take a look at
Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) Another great stock. Not sure
if this is the same chip they make as Rambus.
      (audio/video kinda stuff)
